New Fabric to start off 2014!!!
So excited to start off a new year.... love new beginnings. So many ideas and goals running through my head today.
Instead of resolutions - maybe I will call them goals. Does not seem so overwhelming when referred to as a goal.... what do you think?
2014 Goals:
1. Walk everyday.
2. Blog everyday - even if it is just a picture.
3. Spend at least 30 minutes in the sewing room everyday... and this does not include blogging, checking e-mails, etc. (yes my sewing room doubles as my little office).
Must create for 30 minutes everyday.
4. Finish all my quilts.... no more quilt tops being stored in a closet - get them out and in use!
5. Spend time with friends at least once a week.
6. Put down the club and stop beating myself up.
7. Learn to say no.
8. .......
Happy 2014!
sounds like some good goals to me. I need to practice number 7. that one gets me in trouble all the time.
ReplyDeleteIt is a tough one that is for sure! Happy New Year.
DeleteI thought I was the only one that used a club on myself--it's a mental club, of course, but a club none-the-less.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric.
Looking forward to an awesome year!
We can help each other Pam! Happy New Year!
DeleteHappy New Year Stacy!!! I have a few of those goals on my to do list this year too!!! I truly hope that we don't let another year go by without getting together. We should go have lunch or something!! I couldn't find an email for you, so please drop me an email (link is on my blog) and lets set something up!!!

Happy New Year Karen! I will be over to visit your blog soon! Lots of love!
DeleteThese are great goals, especially the one about putting down the club. Margaret Miller told us in a class, early in my quilting journey, that if we finish everything we start, we're doing something wrong. Just a little food for thought! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog earlier. Good luck with your new tubs of fabric! What a joy to dig through things like that.
ReplyDeleteHi Gale! I really really like the advice that Margaret Miller gave you! And thank you for sharing it with me. I will definitely keep that in mind... Happy New Year!
