Worldwide Quilting Day!!!

What a great day!  Not too much sewing but lots of playing on the design wall....  

 I started this quilt top in February and totally fell in love with half-square triangles!  

This is the original pattern
But then I wanted to play around
with the blocks


So many design possibilities.

    I love the 'envelope' block layout - seeing a lot of pink, grey, black quilts and just love this combo.

      I am actually leaning in towards the envelope block layout.... but I must finish the darn BOM block for tomorrow's meeting.

      It is funny because I thought I would never use black in a quilt - unless it was just a small amount - like part of a print.... but I am really loving it.
